Meet Hallie
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply attuned to you—honoring your pace, your needs, and your story. I strive to create a space where you feel truly seen and understood, where we can gently explore your experiences with care and curiosity. I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth and steadiness as you navigate areas where you may feel stuck, find support, and regulate your nervous system in ways that support lasting growth.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, with a focus in trauma psychology, from the University of Colorado.
Additionally, I’ve completed training in trauma processing therapies (EMDR), somatic practices, and attachment-based and developmental trauma. I’m a lifelong learner and deeply enjoy engaging with new ideas and perspectives to expand and refine how I show up as a therapist.
Who I Work With
I work with adults (18+) who are looking to explore past trauma or seeking support with anxiety, people-pleasing, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges. I offer virtual therapy to clients in Maryland and Colorado, as well as in-person sessions at our Baltimore, Maryland office.
How I Work
I operate from a relational and attachment-focused lens where my primary goal is to foster safety in the therapy space to support your goals and growth. My primary modalities include:
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
Internal Family Systems (IFS); Parts work
Somatic practices informed by Polyvagal Theory
Relational Therapy
Using these modalities, we can help you integrate and move through past traumatic experiences, improve your ability to recognize and understand your emotions, and improve the quality of your relationship with yourself and others.
A Bit More About Me
Before moving into private practice, I worked in a university wellness center providing therapy to college students and in crisis intervention, supporting individuals through high-intensity mental health experiences. These experiences shaped my ability to stay grounded and responsive when things feel overwhelming or uncertain. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodivergent-affirming, and I strive to create a space where all parts of your identity are celebrated.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside of work, I’m often reading a fantasy novel, hanging out with my cat, or getting outside as much as possible. I’m a big nerd at heart - I love games, puzzles, and anything that makes me think. I also enjoy yoga, hiking, and spending time with my people.
