Meet Maggie

Hi! I’m Maggie, an inclusive, down-to-earth therapist who believes in celebrating your authentic self. I founded Welling Wellness to create a welcoming, supportive community where both clients and clinicians feel seen, respected, and empowered. My approach is grounded in humility, curiosity, and ease because I believe therapy should be a space where you can truly be you authentic self.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) with a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Michael’s College, VT. I’ve also completed research at the University of Cambridge, King’s College, and earned specialized training through a Certificate in Clinical Sports Social Work (University of Michigan) and a Somatic Stress Release Certificate (Embody Lab).

Who I Work With

I work with children (10+), teens, young adults, and adults; often students, young professionals, survivors, and athletes; supporting them through anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, overall stress, and life transitions. I also work with families for family therapy on a case by case basis!

How I Work

I use a holistic, trauma-informed person-centered and individualized approach that pulls from:

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Parts Work

  • Somatic Practices

Through an integrative, trauma-informed, mind-body approach, we’ll not only talk things through, we’ll also reconnect with your body to build awareness, emotional regulation, and insight that goes beyond surface-level change.

Whether you’re navigating performance pressure with school, work or athletics, trauma recovery, or just trying to feel more grounded, I aim to meet you where you are with compassion, insight, and a touch of humor.

A Bit More About Me

Before opening Welling Wellness, I provided therapy in a range of settings including group private practices, criminal legal system, public schools, and behavioral health clinics.

I’m also proud member of the Anxiety & Depression Association of America and the Athletes for Hope Alliance.

As a former college athlete, I’m especially passionate about athlete mental health, and I advocate for racial justice, trauma survivors, gender equity, and criminal justice reform.

Outside the Therapy Room

When I’m not working, you can find me doing pilates, baking, walking my dog, or binge-watching New Girl. (INFJ here - so yes, I’m all about deep connection and grounded, cozy energy.)
